The Shaker Heights Youth Center is very pleased to be able to provide remote learning pods for the upcoming nine weeks starting on Tuesday, September 15th. We understand that if school returns to an in-person setting, necessary changes to this time frame will be made.
The goal of the Learning Pod program is to maximize the students’ learning by providing educational and social-emotional support. The program will utilize the remote instruction provided by Shaker Heights City Schools. The learning pod will consist of nine students and a Youth Center teacher. The teacher’s goal is to assist the student to fully benefit from the instruction provided. Shaker Heights Youth Center staff will also provide social-emotional education and support.
Students will be selected by Shaker Heights City Schools. Breakfast and lunch will be provided by the Schools.

TIMES | LOCATIONS
Grades 1-4 will begin at 8:00 am and end at 4:00 pm. / Lomond School
Grades 5-6 will begin at 8:00 am and end at 4:00 pm. / High School
Grades 7-8 will begin at 8:30 am and end at 4:15 pm. / High School
Grades 9-12 will begin at 8:45 am and end at 4:00 pm. / High School
